STARNEB 0.5mg Respules is used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and to treat croup (a viral infection of the upper airways) in infants and children aged 12 months to 8 years. It works by reducing swelling and irritation in the lungs, which helps in improving breathing. However, it is not meant for the treatment of ongoing asthma attacks.

Directions for Use

• Put the respule solution into a nebulizer, which will transform it into a fine mist for inhalation through a face mask or mouthpiece.
• Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not use for acute asthma attacks. It is for long-term control.

Side Effects

• Thrush (a fungal infection)
• Sore throat
• Cough
• Hoarseness
